Santa Rosa Lunch and Education Meeting – Cryptocurrency

Many businesses and individuals are using Bitcoin or other virtual currencies. The IRS has issued guidance on the tax consequences. That guidance does not address all cryptocurrency issues. John Miller, EA will present this topic at CSTC’s 2019 Summer Tax Symposium in Las Vegas next month. He will provide a primer on virtual currencies and give attendees a practical, foundational understanding of the tax issues of virtual currencies in 2 CE hours.
