Your clients can defer, reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes by investing in opportunity zones available under TCJA. IRS guidelines have clarified how businesses in opportunity zones will benefit from the law.
Erik Hayden is a developer of real estate projects and the managing partner of Urban Catalyst, a fund based in San Jose. He teamed up with other experts to form Silicon Valley’s first qualified opportunity fund. He will provide one hour of education on both the benefits and risks of QOZ investing.
