SUMMARY:Marin Dinner and Education Meeting - The Modern Family
DESCRIPTION:Super Seminar speaker David Du Val will present The Modern Family. He will teach about many of the rules in properly selecting filing status\, claiming credits for dependents and other family issues. His topic has been substantially updated to include the new rules under Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The Child Tax Credit and the Credit for Other Dependents are two tax benefits he will help attendees remember to apply to all clients who qualify. He will enlighten attendees on what due diligence is required in completed that much-misunderstood Form 8867. David will discuss the alimony rules taking effect in 2019. \nThe 2 CPE education portion of the meeting will be BEFORE networking time and dinner.
